Ubisoft has announced the launch of an operational and portfolio reorganization structured around five specialized divisions called Creative Houses. The new operating model, which will be fully operational in early April, includes a return to on-site work five days a week, supplemented by an annual allowance of remote work days.

The strategic review resulted in the cancellation of six games in development, including the remake of Prince of Persia The Sands of Time, three new unannounced intellectual properties, and one mobile title. Seven additional games will receive additional development time, causing one unannounced title to be pushed back from fiscal 2026 to 2027. The company has confirmed the development of four new intellectual properties, including March of Giants.

The five Creative Houses have been organized by specific genres and brands:
-
Creative House 1 (Vantage Studios): Focused on core franchises Assassin's Creed, Far Cry e Rainbow Six.
-
Creative House 2: dedicated to competitive and cooperative shooters, including The Division, Ghost Recon e Splinter Cell.
-
Creative House 3: Focused on live service titles such as For Honor, The Crew, Riders Republic, Brawlhalla e Skull & Bones.
-
Creative House 4: Specializing in fantasy worlds and narrative universes, including Year, Might & Magic, Rayman, Prince of Persia e Beyond Good & Evil.
-
Creative House 5: dedicated to the casual and family segments, with brands such as Just Dance, Idle Miner Tycoon, Ketchapp, Hungry Shark, Invincible: Guarding the Globe, A e Hasbro.
Financially, net bookings of approximately €1.5 billion and a negative non-IFRS EBIT of approximately €1 billion are expected for the 2025-26 financial year. This figure includes accelerated impairments of €650 million resulting from project cancellations and postponements. The cost reduction plan targets fixed cost savings of €500 million by March 2028, supported by the closure of the Halifax and Stockholm studios and restructurings at Abu Dhabi, RedLynx, and Massive.
In the third quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year, Ubisoft recorded net bookings of approximately €330 million, driven by the performance of Year 117: Pax Romana and the From the Ashes expansion of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
