CD PROJEKT RED has announced the development of a third expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled Songs of the Past. Players will return to the role of monster hunter Geralt of Rivia for a new adventure.
The expansion is scheduled for release in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. CD PROJEKT RED is co-developing the project in collaboration with Fool's Theory, a studio comprised of industry veterans who worked on the original title. Further details about Songs of the Past will be revealed in late summer 2026 during Gamescom.
