Sony broadcast a State of Play event lasting over 60 minutes dedicated to the new features coming to PlayStation 5. The presentation outlined the platform's release schedule for 2026 and 2027.
For the month of September 2026, Marvel's Wolverine Insomniac Games' upcoming action-adventure title is scheduled for release on September 15th, focusing on combat dynamics with Logan and Jean Grey against the Reavers. It will be released on September 22nd. Dune: Awakening, an open-world survival title with a single-player mode. They will be released on September 24th. Control Resonant by Remedy, centered on Dylan's character in an altered Manhattan, and the horror Silent Hill: Townfall, which was shown with a trailer focusing on the characters of Zoe and Simon. It will arrive on September 25th Onimusha: Warlords from Capcom, of which a 30-minute demo is already available on PlayStation 5.
The releases of will follow in October 2026 Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered and the platform Rayman Legends Retold, both set for October 1st. It will be released on October 2nd.
