Ubisoft announces the release date of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will be available starting July 9, 2026. The title will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through the Ubisoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store, and will also be included in the Ubisoft+ subscription service.

Developed primarily by Ubisoft Singapore with support from several of the group's global studios, the game is a remake of Assassin's Creed Black Flag, originally released in 2013. This new version uses the latest iteration of the Anvil engine to modernize the technical aspects and update the gameplay mechanics. New features include a parry-based combat system, updates to the parkour and infiltration systems, and an in-depth exploration of naval navigation, as well as the addition of new narrative content.

Set during the Golden Age of Piracy in the Caribbean, the game follows the adventures of Edward Kenway, a pirate captain caught up in the conflict between the Assassins and the Templars. The narrative includes encounters with historical figures such as Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack. The soundtrack will once again feature a collaboration with artist Woodkid, who has created a reinterpretation of the track for the franchise.

The standard edition has been set at €59.99. In addition, a Digital Deluxe Edition will be available, containing the Master Assassin Packs, and a Collector's Edition that includes an Edward Kenway figurine, a metal pin, a SteelBook case, and a cloth map. Pre-orders will receive Blackbeard's Carmin Pack, including an exclusive outfit and dedicated weapons.
