Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have released the eighth episode of the mini-documentary series dedicated to the making of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the reinterpretation of the debut chapter of the series published in 1996.

This new episode delves deeper into what was shown to the press during Gamescom, focusing on the level set in Greece and the enigma of the Sword of Damocles.
The video features members of the development team, including Game Director Raul Sequeira, who highlights the attention paid to the architecture of the Greek settings, characterized by acropolises and domed structures, and Design Director Jason Epps, who describes the introduction of timed sections designed to alternate moments of exploration with more dynamic gameplay.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be released on February 12, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. The title is a dynamic single-player adventure that recreates the settings and puzzles of the original game with updated gameplay mechanics.
