The Pokémon TCG: 30th Anniversary expansion is available starting today, September 16, 2026, at specialty retailers worldwide, marking the thirtieth anniversary of the popular trading card line. According to the press release, the new series features exclusively holographic cards, featuring vibrant, hand-drawn designs by renowned Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN. A completely new rarity tier, "Futuristic Rare," is also available. Each 30th Anniversary booster pack guarantees, among other surprises, one of the 30 rare Pikachu cards included in the set, as well as 30 classic cards celebrating their return to the Pokémon TCG. Fans will also be able to encounter Pokémon depicted at different times of day, both during daytime and at night. Additional anniversary-themed products will follow later in the year.
Among the products available starting today are the 30th Anniversary Top Trainer Box with nine booster packs and an illustrated Nidorina promo, the Poster Collection with promos dedicated to Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, the Tech Sticker Collection with a holographic promo of Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario, the ex collection dedicated to Sylveon-ex or Greninja-ex accompanied by the overdimensional Sylveon-ex and the Tin Box with four booster packs and the corresponding promo card.
In addition to physical products, the expansion is already available digitally via the Pokémon TCG Live app on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. After logging in, players will receive deck accessories and a Battle Pass deck featuring Mew-ex, while a second deck featuring Sylveon-ex is unlocked through gameplay. Watch the trailer below:
