Bethesda Game Studios, in collaboration with studio Virtuos, has announced that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be available for Nintendo Switch 2 starting August 11. The title, a rerelease of the 2006 role-playing game of the same name, will also include the official expansions The Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine.
The technical side of things has been updated with new graphics and gameplay optimizations. In handheld mode, the game will use DLSS technology to reach a resolution of 900p at 30 FPS, while in docked mode, the resolution will be 1080p at 30 FPS. New features include motion control support, touchscreen support, and a mouse configuration for dual-handed play. Pre-orders for the physical and digital versions are now open at retailers and on the Nintendo eShop, respectively.
