Rebel Wolves has released, in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment, the official launch trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker. The first chapter of the Coen saga will debut on September 3, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The video offers an overview of Sangora-Tal, the main setting where players will face Brencis, a vampire ruler. Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, game director and co-founder of Rebel Wolves, mentioned the title's presence at Gamescom in Hall 6.1, where visitors can play the demo.
In the title, developed with Unreal Engine 5, players take on the role of Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker, capable of shifting between human form by day and vampire form by night. The choices made throughout the adventure directly impact both the gameplay mechanics and narrative progression.
Set against the backdrop of the Carpathian Mountains in a land marked by wars and plagues, The Blood of Dawnwalker It's an open-world action RPG that allows for free exploration right from the start. The development studio has also confirmed that future installments in the series will move the setting to different eras and cultures.
