Toys for Bob, the development studio previously responsible for Spyro: Reignited Trilogy e Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, officially announced Spyro: A Realm Beyond. The title is scheduled for release in spring 2027 and represents the first new adventure in the series in nearly twenty years.
The game introduces a new world, expanded exploration options, and updated gameplay mechanics compared to the classic structure. Among the main new features is the introduction of free flight for the dragon, replacing the gliding mechanics and flight level limitations of previous editions. Voice actor Tom Kenny will return as the protagonist Spyro.
