Sony has announced the launch of the new generation of true wireless earphones, the WF-1000XM6, which introduce an improvement of the 25% in noise reduction compared to the previous model.

The device uses the new QN3e HD Noise Cancelling Processor and the integrated V2 processor, supported by four microphones per earbud. The system includes an adaptive optimizer that analyzes environmental conditions and the user's fit in real time.
From a technical point of view, the WF-1000XM6 They support 32-bit processing and feature a new driver with a diaphragm made of differentiated materials for managing high and low frequencies. The earphones are compatible with Hi-Res Audio, DSEE Extreme, and 360 Reality Audio. Bluetooth connectivity has been updated with a larger antenna than the 50% and support for LE Audio with Auracast, aimed at reducing latency.

Call specifications include a bone conduction sensor and an AI-based noise reduction algorithm. As for smart features, direct access to Google Gemini via voice command is integrated. The 11%'s design has been reduced in size compared to the WF-1000XM5 and features a new ventilation structure to limit internal noise.
The claimed battery life is 8 hours with active noise reduction, extendable to 24 hours with the Qi-compatible charging case. The materials used include approximately 251 TP3T of recycled plastics. Along with the new earphones, Sony has introduced the Rose Poudré color variant for the headphones. WH-1000XM6.

I WF-1000XM6 will be available in Switzerland from February 2026 in the colours Black and Platinum Silver at a price of 249 CHF. WH-1000XM6 in Rose Poudré color will be sold exclusively on the Sony online store from February 12 to 18, and will then arrive at authorized retailers from February 19, 2026 at the price of 449 CHF.
