Sennheiser presented the HD 480 PRO, a new model of closed-back headphones intended for professional use, from studio monitoring to live applications. The device was designed to offer precise low-frequency reproduction, correcting the technical limitations typically found in closed-back architectures through the use of ultra-lightweight voice coils and a neutral frequency response.

The mechanical structure uses a special axis geometry that ensures uniform contact pressure regardless of the user's morphology, while the earcups feature a soft section designed for eyeglass wearers. To preserve signal clarity, the Vibration Attenuation System eliminates unwanted vibrations and distortions. Additionally, the detachable cable features a spiral section near the earcup to acoustically decouple the device from rubbing or handling noise.

The HD 480 PRO features dual-sided cable connectivity and Braille markings on the earcups for accessibility. This model joins the HD 490 PRO in the 400 series, positioning it as the ideal solution for environments requiring passive noise isolation. The standard version is available for €399 with a soft case, while the HD 480 PRO Plus variant includes a hard travel case for €439.
