Samsung launches Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G with advanced AI features and extended software support

Samsung has released the full technical details for the new A-series models available in the Swiss market. The Galaxy A57 5G It features a slimmer body than its predecessor, incorporating a 5,000 mAh battery module (minimum rated capacity of 4,905 mAh) that supports Fast Charge 2.0, allowing the 60% to recharge in 30 minutes. Heat dissipation is handled by an enlarged vapor chamber, designed to manage the workloads of the new processor optimized for NPU and GPU computations.

The camera system on both devices is centered around a 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 5 MP ultra-wide sensor and a macro lens. Galaxy A57 5G implement an advanced image signal processor (ISP) that increases shutter speed and reduces digital noise through artificial intelligence algorithms. The Nightography functionality has been enhanced for automatic color balancing and contrast optimization in low-light conditions.

The display is a Super AMOLED+ unit featuring Vision Booster technology for visibility in direct sunlight. Both models are IP68 certified, guaranteeing submersion in fresh water up to 1.5 meters for a maximum of 30 minutes. On the software side, the One UI 8.5 interface integrates Galaxy AI Select for intelligent content extraction and the AI Video Montage feature for automated editing of clips up to 90 minutes per segment (180 minutes total per project).

Security is managed at the hardware level by the Samsung Knox Vault chip, which isolates sensitive data from the main operating system. The devices include Auto Blocker, Theft prevention, and Privacy alerts for real-time control of geolocation permissions. The Galaxy A37 5G is offered at CHF 379, while the Galaxy A57 5G It has a retail price of 449 CHF. Sales on samsung.ch will begin on April 10th at 9:00 AM Swiss time.
