Roborock has announced the debut in Switzerland of the new premium Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 (X) robot vacuum cleaner, scheduled for July 17, 2026. The device will be marketed in black and white at a recommended price of CHF 699, with names that will vary depending on the sales channel based on the accessories included in the package.
The robot's technical department is based on the HyperForce suction system with a power of 25,000 Pa, supported by the DuoDivide main brush and the extendable FlexiArm Arc side brush, designed to reduce hair tangles. The floor cleaning system exerts a pressure of 8 N and is assisted by FlexiArm Edge Mopping technology to reach corners and edges along walls. The device is 7.98 cm thick with a retractable LDS turret, supported by a dToF rangefinder and a 100-degree vision module for navigation.
Obstacle management is entrusted to Reactive AI Obstacle Recognition technology, capable of recognizing over 280 object categories and automatically detecting rugs to lift or remove laundry.
The included multifunctional charging station autonomously manages the robot's maintenance through the following specifications:
- Washing clothes with hot water at 80°C
- Dry with hot air at 55°C
- Automatic detection of dirt level via Deep Soak Wash technology
- Automatic water tank filling
Smart features include native voice control via the “Hello Rocky” assistant, compatibility with the Matter standard, management via a proprietary app with support for real-time video tracking and dedicated options for pet detection.
