Rhythm Paradise Groove is available for Nintendo Switch 2 and the first Nintendo Switch

If you don't know what to play this weekend, starting yesterday, July 2, 2026, Rhythm Paradise Groove is available on Nintendo Switch 2 (and also Nintendo Switch). The new collection of rhythm minigames offers over eighty new single-player challenges, all easy to learn but rewarding to master: from throwing flying vegetables to bouncing fruit off your arms, swinging demolition sledgehammers, and much more, all set to the beat. Also noteworthy is the new rhythm-RPG Beatspell, in which players harness the magical power of rhythm to cast spells and experience a fully-fledged story.

The multiplayer component is equally impressive (up to four players locally on a single console can compete in over thirty cooperative and competitive modes), with situations ranging from controlling a quartet of racing fighters to thinning the hairs on a stringy onion. The package is rounded out by a section dedicated to drum lessons with guided courses, a free session for those who simply want to improvise, and other surprises such as the rhythm library and the Bar, all accompanied by original compositions by the renowned Japanese musician Tsunku. In terms of accessibility, the title offers several customization options, including the in-game assistant Leggizia, which can read lyrics on-screen, and calibration tools to synchronize inputs with the TV. A free demo is also available on the eShop, whose progress can be fully transferred to the full version.

IThe game can be purchased directly from the Nintendo eShop, while the physical version is available from major retailers like Digitec.ch, where the price is around 50–60 CHF. Our review will follow soon.
