Oppo has announced its new Find X10 smartphone range and the ColorOS 17 operating system update, which will initially debut on the new devices before being rolled out to the rest of the lineup.

The Find X10 series focuses on computational photography and integrates the LUMO True Image Engine, an architecture divided into three components dedicated respectively to resolution and texture management with the LUMO Hyper Pixel Engine, white balance and tone with the LUMO True Color Engine and dynamic range and contrast control with the LUMO Natural Tone Engine.

The Find X10 Pro Max model introduces the world’s first 200-megapixel triple-camera system, covering multiple focal lengths, and integrates a True Color camera with 24-channel multispectral sensing for a dynamic range of up to 15 EV, while the standard Find X10 model uses two 200-megapixel sensors. Both devices include optics and shooting modes co-developed with Hasselblad.

In parallel, Oppo has unveiled ColorOS 17, It's based on a new system architecture that includes the Unified Rendering Architecture and the Laminar Flow Engine to optimize memory usage and reduce graphics resource consumption by up to 30 percent. The interface adopts Living Flow Design, featuring smooth transitions and dynamic visual responses, and introduces several AI-based features.

These include the AI Mind Pilot agent for handling complex text commands and automating files and documents, the AI Photo Agent for natural language photo editing and Style Match, the AI Mind Space and AI Mind Suggest systems for centralizing personal information, the OSee face recognition feature integrated into the camera, and the AI Call Guard security architecture for on-device detection of fraudulent calls, synthetic voices, and facial manipulation, supported by the Private Computing Cloud and encryption protocols resistant to quantum computer threats.
