Nvidia Updates: DLSS, the DiffusionGemma Model, and GeForce Now Discounts

Nvidia has announced several new features across its graphics technologies, artificial intelligence, and cloud services.

On the technological front, the debut of Control Resonant is scheduled for September 24th with support for pathtracing, NVIDIA RTX Mega Geometry, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. Additional titles integrating or updating support for DLSS technologies include:

  • Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core: DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.
  • Dune: Awakening: Support from September 22nd to DLSS 4.5, DLSS Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution and Nvidia Reflex.
  • Gothic 1 Remake: DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.
  • Goals: DLSS Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution.
  • Onimusha: Warlords: Support in the demo available from September 25 for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, DLSS Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, Nvidia DLAA and Nvidia Reflex.
  • Fatekeeper: DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Frame Generation and MegaLights ray-traced technology.
  • Marathon: Added DLSS Frame Generation with Season 2.
  • NBA The Run: DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution.
  • Tides of Tomorrow: DLSS Super Resolution.
  • Soul: Planned support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.

Nvidia also unveiled Google DeepMind's DiffusionGemma model, optimized for its GPUs. Thanks to parallel text generation, the model achieves an inference speedup up to four times faster than traditional autoregressive models. The solution runs locally on GeForce RTX, Nvidia RTX PRO, DGX Spark, DGX Station, and Nvidia H100 hardware.

The GeForce Now cloud gaming service has launched a summer sale that includes a 35% discount on annual subscriptions. The promotion includes a €77 reduction on the Ultimate subscription and a €38.50 reduction on the Performance subscription. At the same time, the service's library is being expanded with new titles, including NBA The Run, Witchspire, SpaceCraft, Duet Night Abyss, Doom Eternal, The Elder Scrolls Online, Farever e World of Tanks: Heat. The future availability of has finally been confirmed Guild Wars 3 on GeForce Now at launch.
