The video game is a life simulator focused on managing and building your own habitat. The story centers on a Ditto who, awakened from a long slumber, takes on human form to repopulate and revive a deserted world, where the only remaining inhabitant is a lone Tangoloss. Using Ditto's transformation abilities and new crafting skills, players can engage in gardening, construction, and environment customization, interacting with various Pokémon that allow them to learn new, useful moves. The game supports both local and online multiplayer for up to four players.
The game experience can be expanded through a paid Expansion Pass, which is divided into three distinct parts. The first part will be released in August 2026 and will introduce the underwater area of Blubbmeeria, featuring an underwater city, new aquatic Pokémon, themed furnishings, and new costumes for Ditto. The second part of the expansion will be available in late 2026 with additional features, while the third part will introduce a new urban area to explore.
