During the Nintendo Showcase, Capcom presented details regarding its portfolio of titles for Nintendo consoles.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2026. The edition for the new Nintendo console will include the content of the updates released, the Grand Hub, the return of the monster Lagiacrus and the collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV Online.
The title will support local and online wireless cross-play. It will be available in a Standard and Gold edition, the latter including digital cosmetic content, as well as a physical Deluxe version. Digital pre-orders will open on October 19th with a promotional discount valid until December 3rd, 2026. A free demo of the prologue will be available before launch. Mega Man: Dual Override will be released in spring 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
The title will introduce Proto Man as a second playable character, featuring melee attacks and a heat gauge to monitor during battle. Players will be able to use the Override system and customize his abilities using the Custom Chip system. Apex Legends amiibo figures will be released in conjunction with the game's release.
Finally, the series Resident Evil will expand on Nintendo Switch 2 with the introduction of remakes Resident Evil 2 (Deluxe Edition), Resident Evil 3 e Resident Evil 4 (Gold Edition).
The three titles will be available in digital format starting October 16, with pre-orders and dedicated discounts already active, while the physical versions will arrive on January 29, 2027. With these additions, the main series of Resident Evil will be fully usable on the new Nintendo platform.
