Logitech G has announced the expansion of its entry-level G3 peripherals. The G316 X 98 wired mechanical keyboard and G305 X SUPERLIGHT wireless mouse join the existing products, incorporating technologies previously reserved for higher-end lines.
The G305 X SUPERLIGHT wireless mouse weighs 59 grams and integrates the proprietary HERO 44K sensor. The device supports LIGHTSPEED transmission technology and, through the use of a separately sold PRO LIGHTSPEED receiver, is capable of reaching a refresh rate (polling rate) of 8 kHz. Connectivity also includes Bluetooth support and wired mode via USB-C port. The declared battery life is up to 130 hours of use, with a rapid charging system that offers three and a half hours of battery life with two minutes of connection. The body is made using at least 51% recycled plastic and is equipped with exposed screws to facilitate the opening and repair of the components.
The G316 X 98 wired keyboard features a mechanical layout featuring a multi-layer internal structure with Snap-Fit gaskets. From a technical standpoint, it supports an 8 kHz polling rate with a claimed response time of 0.125 milliseconds. The peripheral features a rotary selector combined with a dot-matrix LED display for quickly adjusting parameters such as polling rate, brightness and audio volume. Completing the specifications are a 30-zone LIGHTSYNC RGB top light bar customizable via Logitech G Hub software, Cross-Hatch keycaps and hot-swappable user-replaceable switches.
The two new products round out the G3 series offering alongside the already popular G325 X LIGHTSPEED wireless headset, featuring 24-bit audio and a built-in boomless microphone with AI-powered noise cancellation.
All devices are configurable and customizable via the Logitech G Hub app for managing lighting profiles and macros.
