Level Infinite and Behaviour Interactive have announced Exterminauts, a new cooperative PvE third-person shooter developed in collaboration with global publishing team TEAM SHOOTER & CREATIVE. The title will be released in 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Set on the planet Tian, the game casts players as working-class space technicians, known as "exterminauts," tasked with eliminating alien threats, repairing critical infrastructure, and managing emergencies in hostile industrial environments. The game's structure features cooperative missions in which groups of players launch from an orbital depot to complete high-pressure tasks, gather resources, and upgrade their equipment before retreating.
The gameplay is distinguished by the use of weapons inspired by modified work tools, including cryo cannons, pulse guns, anti-gravity devices, and foam systems. The experience combines dynamic movement elements such as sliding, zip-lining, and overclocking abilities within an alien ecosystem that blends natural elements and industrial structures.
