Joypad has been our home since way back in 2011, and as every good tech enthusiast knows, the fateful moment always comes when the infrastructure needs to be wiped clean and rebuilt from scratch. We've decided to take the big leap for our independent Swiss publication, abandoning the old, reassuring certainties to embrace a decidedly more modern and functional future for all of you who avidly read us.

Multilingual support
Under the hood, the updates are many and decidedly juicy for discerning palates. We've implemented a new integrated multilingual support that will allow you to enjoy our video game and tech ramblings also in French, German, and English. Since we don't have an army of translators locked in a closet typing away, we've relied on modern AI systems to generate text translations (an absolutely necessary compromise). AI, in short, does the dirty work for us, allowing us to focus on what we do best.
A new graphic design
The eye deserves its rightful share, and after ten years of honorable service, our old interface has finally been retired with all due honors. The new graphic design is intended to be much cleaner, more readable, and in keeping with today's fast-paced times. We've tried to heavily streamline the user experience, making navigation much more intuitive.
Obviously, all that glitters isn't gold, especially in the early days of broadcasting. Due to recent, massive infrastructural and graphical changes, it's highly likely you'll encounter some technical bugs during normal platform navigation.
We are proud of this latest step forward for our project. The transition won't be entirely painless, and a few minor technical glitches are to be expected in the coming days, but we are firmly convinced that the new solid infrastructure and the opening up to new languages will lead Joypad to entirely unexplored horizons. We therefore leave you to explore the new site, fervently hoping nothing explodes in the meantime!
