DJI has announced the debut of Avata 360, the new flagship model in the Avata series designed for recording immersive content. The drone is equipped with 1-inch sensors capable of capturing 8K HDR video at 60fps and 120MP photos. The optical system integrates two interchangeable lenses: a 360-degree mode and a single-lens mode for classic 4K footage at 60fps.

Video transmission is handled by the O4+ system, which guarantees a 1080p/60fps signal up to a distance of 20 km. For flight safety, the device features an omnidirectional obstacle detection system for nighttime scenarios and integrated propeller guards. The declared flight time is 23 minutes.

Key technical specifications include:
-
42 GB internal memory.
-
Data transfer via Wi-Fi 6 up to 100 MB/s.
-
User-replaceable front optical sensor via repair kit.
-
ActiveTrack 360-degree and Spotlight Free tracking features.

The drone supports use with DJI Goggles and motion controllers for FPV experiences, in addition to the standard RC 2, RC-N2, and RC-N3 remote controllers. Shipping will begin in April 2026. In Switzerland, the starting price for the drone-only version is set at €459, while the Fly More Combo configurations with the RC 2 remote controller or Motion Controller are offered at €939.
