Durante un evento giapponese, Capcom ha ufficializzato l’arrivo per il 2016 di Resident Evil 0.

Il titolo, atteso su PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360 agli inizi del prossimo anno è un remake del popolare prequel della serie originale. Il progetto è nelle mani dell’autore originale Koji Oda e di altri membri del team che hanno creato il gioco. Qui sotto trovate un messaggio da parte degli sviluppatori e un primo screenshot.

On the one hand, I understand them because it's a quick and easy way to get money, but on the other hand, I'd also prefer new releases and not remake after remake. If the money from the various HD collections is then used to develop new titles, I'm fine with that.
Look, I don't mind well-made remakes of glorious titles. If you produce good titles, you can also make remakes/tributes, and that's fine. But in this case, the remake feels like a stopgap rather than a tribute. Capcom should especially think about its Resident Evil series... where the old titles are more popular than the new ones. You make a remake and it's more popular than the new titles? You make another and it's more popular than the new titles? Maybe ask yourself a few questions?
