The class will be permanently unlocked for those who pre-order Lord of Hatred, with the possibility of maintaining the progress made during the test.

March 11th will also mark the start of the Season of Massacre, which will introduce new activities and a dedicated game mode. At the same time, a collaboration with DOOM: The Dark Ages will be available, bringing new content to the world of Diablo IV Free Demon Slayer-inspired cosmetics, including the "Shield Saw" skin, the Slayer's flail, and the "Cyberdemon Head" back trophy. Additional themed items will be added to the in-game store.

On the expansion content front, Lord of Hatred It will double the number of monsters compared to Vessel of Hatred. New enemies include sea monsters, chimeras, the Rat King, colossal beasts, and the return of the Sea Folk from previous installments in the series.
