NCSOFT releases the first trailer, which includes a first look at gameplay, for Project M – a console game currently in development. Based on Unreal Engine 5, the game features photorealistic graphics and high-quality production, offering an interactive cinematic experience about a man seeking revenge for his wife's death.

The trailer is a technical showcase of realistic environmental textures, emotional facial expressions, and lifelike character animations – a blend of NCSOFT's technical prowess in 3D scanning, motion capture, and visual effects.

As a project in development, the trailer presentation is the first official step of NCSOFT's “Open R&D” initiative, also known as “NCing.” Moon Young Choi, Principal Development Management Officer at NCSOFT, summarizes it as follows:“NCing expresses the company's commitment to opening up the development process and continuing to promptly communicate information about new projects to fans.“. And he adds: “In the future, we will proactively showcase our development progress in a variety of formats, from content such as video trailers, interviews, novels, and webtoons.“.
Project M is still in the early stages of development and further details, including the game's release date, will be announced later.
