505 Games and Chengdu Recursive Dolphin Technology, a Chinese studio known by the Indolphinity brand and founded by Xia Siyuan, have signed a development and publishing agreement for a new installment in the Wuchang series.
The agreement follows the acquisition of the franchise's intellectual property rights by Digital Bros. in April 2026. Under the terms of the agreement, Indolphinity will lead the creative development of the sequel, while 505 Games will handle the title's financing and global distribution. To support operations, Digital Bros. will establish a dedicated subsidiary in Chengdu that will work closely with the development studio.
The first chapter of the series, WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, released on July 24, 2025, had over 131,000 concurrent players on Steam at launch and has reached 5 million players globally across PC and consoles.
