Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is available today

Ubisoft has announced the availability of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, a remake of the title originally released in 2013. The game is accessible through the Ubisoft+ subscription service and on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms via the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store and Steam, where it has obtained Steam Deck certification.

The primary development was led by Ubisoft Singapore with support from fifteen other Ubisoft studios. This new version uses the latest iteration of the Anvil engine to update the visuals and introduces gameplay changes, including parry-based combat, updates to the infiltration and parkour mechanics, in-depth naval management, and new narrative segments. The story revisits the adventures of the pirate Edward Kenway in the Caribbean during the conflict between the Assassins and the Templars.

The soundtrack integrates original songs by Brian Tyler with 22 new compositions by Stephen Lukach, available for pre-download starting July 10. An internet connection is required to install the game, but the main campaign is accessible offline after downloading.

The title is available in three configurations. The Standard Edition costs €59.99. The Deluxe Edition, available digitally only for €69.99, adds the character and Master Assassin naval customization packs to the base game. The Collector's Edition includes the Deluxe Edition's digital content along with physical items such as a character figurine, a metal pin, a SteelBook case, and a cloth world map.
