Lenovo unveils the new Tab Plus Gen 2 tablet

Lenovo has introduced the new Tab Plus Gen 2, a tablet focused on multimedia content consumption and multitasking. The device stands out for its audio system designed in collaboration with JBL, consisting of a nine-speaker Pro system optimized with Dolby Atmos.

The terminal also supports Bluetooth speaker mode, which allows you to play audio tracks directly from a smartphone, and integrates Dolby Audio technology with specific profiles for different types of content.

The display is a 12.1-inch LCD panel with 2.5K resolution and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 standards. Maximum brightness reaches 800 nits in high brightness mode, ensuring visibility even in direct sunlight. The body features a 360-degree rotatable rear stand that allows the tablet to be positioned both vertically and horizontally for different usage configurations, as well as the ability to use the device as a digital photo frame in standby mode.

On the software side, Lenovo has included AI-powered tools such as Lenovo AI Live Transcript for real-time transcription and translation in over 40 languages, Lenovo Smarter Reader, and the AI Notes suite for note management.

The 10,200mAh battery provides up to 15 hours of continuous YouTube video streaming and supports fast charging up to 45W via USB-C. The device is compatible with optional accessories sold separately, including the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, wireless keyboard, and 68W power adapter. The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 will be available soon with a starting price of CHF 399.
