There's an almost philosophical contrast in choosing the historic Great Stables of the Château de Chantilly, a masterpiece of 18th-century French architecture, to present the future of biomimetic robotics and next-generation home appliances.

Yet, Dreame Technology's choice for the European keynote is not at all random. The message, whispered between the stone arches and polished floors of the estate, is clear: the brand no longer wants to be perceived simply as the hyper-technological alternative in the world of vacuuming, but as a new standard of accessible luxury and contemporary good living. After rather explosive brand growth, the company founded in 2017 takes the definitive step in Paris. Abandoning the race against individual competitors, Dreame presents itself today as a global player capable of covering every corner of the smart home. You'll find all ads in detail here.

The company's DNA remains firmly rooted in floor cleaning, a sector where Chantilly has introduced two engineering milestones. The first is the flagship series X60 Pro, in the declensions Ultra Complete, Ultra Matrix e Master, where the technical specification bar is raised to 42,000 Pa of suction power (a monstrous value when you think about it) supported by the OmniSight 3.0 AI obstacle recognition system.

But the real innovation is the structural evolution of the Dual UltraExtend mechanical arms; both the side brush and the rotating mops physically extend outwards, by 12 and 18 cm respectively, to eliminate the cleaning gap along baseboards. In the Matrix version, the robot can even autonomously replace its own pads, made of nylon or sponge, depending on the room it is in.

The real attraction of the event, however, was the Cyber X, the world's first “biomimetic” vacuum robot designed to climb and clean stairs. Seeing it in action on the steps set up in the Chantilly facility is impressive; thanks to the Quad-Track caterpillar traction system, the robot climbs slopes up to 42° and steps up to 30 cm high. Working in symbiosis with the X60 series, as it descends, a rear module brushes and vacuums the surface of the step, coordinating multi-level mapping via an independent 3D ToF sensor (an engineering gem that will delight owners of multi-story homes tired of being porters).

Dreame's strategy now being guided by the ecosystem concept is demonstrated by the significant focus dedicated to the line's debut Pet Care. Inside the stables, a place historically linked to animal care, the brand showcased three devices designed for home integration. These include a self-cleaning automatic litter box, equipped with odor reduction systems and animal health monitoring, a smart food dispenser for scientific portion management via app, and a temperature-controlled pet bed, capable of actively heating or cooling to ensure maximum climate comfort for cats and dogs based on ambient temperature. The stated goal is integration; these devices will communicate with the robot fleet to trigger targeted cleaning sessions immediately after the animal passes through or eats (avoiding the classic, unpleasant messes on the carpet).

Dreame has also clearly stated that it wishes to diversify its brand with the entry into large home appliances with the refrigerator. Dreame FizzFresh, ovens, and smart dishwashers. It's a premium product that integrates the SparklingBar into the door, an instant chilled sparkling water dispensing system with three carbonation levels (perfect for surviving hot summer days in the newsroom). Next to it, the IceDUO system for producing cubed or crushed ice, and active air purification technologies confirm the brand's ambitions in the kitchen sector.

Finally, the engineers’ gaze rose to the walls with the’Aqua Air, a lightweight Wet & Dry cordless vacuum cleaner, weighing less than 0.9 kg, and above all the Pano 10 Station, a vertical window cleaning robot that adopts a flexible arm to cover the corners of frames, washes at a constant 45°C to dissolve stains, and recharges or self-cleans in an impressive 10-in-1 multi-function station.

The Paris keynote was not just a demonstration of engineering prowess, but a declaration of commercial intent. The European rollout will begin progressively in the coming months, starting in early June with the flagship X60 Pro Ultra Complete, offered at 1,279 CHF with a launch promotion, followed in the summer by the Matrix variants, the Pet Care line, and large appliances. If until two years ago Dreame could be considered a solid player in the vacuum cleaner market, the Chantilly event marks its transition to the status of a well-rounded tech giant. The challenge to the historical giants of the smart home is no longer being fought on the grounds of price, but on that of an integrated ecosystem, where software unifies the management of cleaning, cooking, and home wellness. The premises are there, and we will see if the promises are kept in the coming months.
