Kingston Technology Europe has announced the introduction of the DC3000ME U.2 NVMe SSD, extending the range’s storage capacity to 30.72TB.

The drive is designed to meet the needs of next-generation data centers, particularly AI, high-performance computing, and cloud infrastructure workloads. Thanks to the PCIe 5.0 interface, the module achieves sequential read speeds of 14 GB/s and random read performance of 2.8 million IOPS using 3D eTLC NAND flash.

The device is backwards compatible with PCIe 4.0 platforms, allowing for integration into existing server environments. Its technical features include power loss protection systems to safeguard data in the event of unexpected power outages, as well as support for 256-bit AES hardware encryption and Self-Encrypting Drive features compliant with the TCG Opal 2.0 standard. The product comes with a five-year limited warranty and dedicated technical support.
