In conjunction with the Galaxies Showcase, Supermassive Games has released a new 60-second video of Directive 8020, narrative science fiction survival horror.
The title will be available on May 12, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Set on the spaceship Cassiopeia, the game sees the protagonists hunted by a shape-shifting alien organism. The gameplay introduces stealth mechanics, real-time threat management, and turning points that allow you to undo previously made critical decisions.
At launch, a single-player mode and a local cinematic mode for up to five players will be available, while a free update will introduce online multiplayer. Pre-orders are open for all platforms, both digitally and physically for the console versions. Pre-order content includes The Dark Pictures costume and collectible pack, a visual filter pack, the digital soundtrack, and a digital artbook.
