As usual, Nintendo held a direct message dedicated to independent publishers and developers, who are focusing, as you can see below, in particular on the newly arrived Nintendo Switch. Among the most important announcements was Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, a title that blends dungeon exploration and business management, bringing the experience to Nintendo Switch 2 (NSW2). In the game, the player must manage the double life of an adventurer and a merchant: during forays into parallel dimensions, each session turns into a puzzle where the player must decide how much loot to carry and how much to risk to advance the exploration. Management as a merchant takes place once back in town, where the player must display the treasures and, increasingly, determine the best price to attract customers (both regular and new). The release window for NSW2 is scheduled for 2026.
Surprise launches today Blue Prince, an award-winning indie game now available on Nintendo Switch 2, will challenge players to explore Mt. Holly, an enigmatic mansion where every step and door represents a crucial strategic choice. In this mix of mystery, puzzles, and strategy, the rooms are constantly changing and the entire mansion resets every day, forcing the player to carefully plan their route to the secret Room 46. During the presentation, it was shared that Blue Prince takes advantage of the Joy-Con 2's new features, namely mouse controls.
