Come da copione, anche quest’anno Samsung ha annunciato il refresh della sua offerta d’alta gamma nel segmento smartphone. L’anno scorso siamo passati da S10 a S20 mentre quest’anno “ci accontentiamo” di un S21? Beh, il nome nasconde più di quanto pensiate per quanto riguarda Galaxy S21, S21+ e S21 Ultra. In più sono in arrivo anche delle nuove Galaxy Buds Pro. In fondo alla news troverete anche tutte le specifiche tecniche dettagliate.
S21 e S21+
I due device entry level nel top di gamma (si, la frase ha senso… crediamo) sono molto simili, a differenza di schermo e batteria. S21 ha uno schermo da 6,2 pollici mentre S21+ è stato dotato di schermo più grande da 6,7 pollici e una batteria ad alta capacità.
S21
La serie Galaxy S21 è caratterizzata da un corpo macchina completamente nuovo Contour-Cut che si inserisce discretamente nella sottile cornice metallica. I nuovi smartphone della generazione S sono disponibili in diversi colori, tra cui il nuovo colore della firma, “Phantom Violet” mentre la finitura è opaca. Galaxy S21 è dotato di display adattivo Edge-to-Edge Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O 120 Hz che offre un maggiore comfort durante lo scorrimento e la visualizzazione dei contenuti. La frequenza di aggiornamento si adatta automaticamente a contenuti specifici come i feed dei social network o le serie. Sul retro del device troviamo tre telecamere: due sensori da 12 Megapixel (wide e ultra-wide, con OIS) e un teleobiettivo da 64 Megapixel che abilita uno zoom 3X che raggiunge 30X con un sistema ibrido.
S21+
I due device sono basati sul nuovo processore Exynos 2100 a 5 nm abbinato a 8 Gigabyte di RAM e 128 o 256 Gigabyte di memoria interna. Come Apple, nella confezione non troveremo né caricabatterie né cuffiette.
Galaxy S21 è disponibile a CHF 899 (prezzo di vendita consigliato 256 GB) o CHF 849 (prezzo di vendita consigliato 128 GB) nei colori Phantom Gray, Phantom Pink, Phantom Violet e Phantom White. I dispositivi saranno disponibili in commercio a partire dal 29 gennaio 2021.
Galaxy S21+ è disponibile per CHF 1099 (256 GB MSRP) o CHF 1049 (128 GB MSRP) in Phantom Violet, Phantom Silver e Phantom Black. I dispositivi saranno disponibili in commercio a partire dal 29 gennaio 2021. Galaxy S21+ sarà disponibile esclusivamente presso il Samsung Online Shop nei seguenti colori: Phantom Red et Phantom Gold.
S21 Ultra
S21 Ultra è un’altra bestiola. Dotato di un display dinamico AMOLED 2X da 6,8 pollici con risoluzione WQHD+, Galaxy S21 Ultra è il più grande della serie Galaxy S21. La frequenza di aggiornamento dello schermo può passare automaticamente da 10 a 120 Hz si adatta al contenuto visualizzato. Il risultato è l’immagine più precisa e a basso consumo energetico possibile, che consente di risparmiare anche la carica della batteria. Rispetto al Galaxy S20, il Galaxy S21 ha un display più luminoso del 25% e offre una luminosità massima di 1500 nit.
La fotocamera principale a quattro lenti (ultra grandangolare, grandangolare e doppio teleobiettivo) è dotata di un nuovo sensore pro da 108 MP in grado di scattare foto HDR a 12 bit. Per la prima volta nella storia degli smartphone Galaxy, gli utenti potranno registrare video 4K a 60 fps con tutti gli obiettivi anteriori e posteriori. Galaxy S21 Ultra è dotato di uno zoom spaziale 100 x, supportato dal primo sistema a doppio teleobiettivo Samsung con zoom ottico 3 x e zoom ottico 10 x. Completa la carrellata di specifiche più importanti il supporto a 5G, e Wi-Fi 6E oltre che la batteria da 5000 mAh. Una curiosità: S21 Ultra supporterà la nuova S-Pen, solitamente appannaggio della gamma Note.
Galaxy S21 Ultra sarà disponibile dal 29 gennaio 2021 nei colori Phantom Silver e Phantom Black al prezzo di CHF 1429 (512 GB, prezzo di vendita consigliato, disponibile solo nel Samsung Online Shop), CHF 1299 (256 GB, prezzo di vendita consigliato) e CHF 1249 (128 GB, prezzo di vendita consigliato).
S Pen è disponibile in nero al prezzo di CHF 44.90 (prezzo di vendita consigliato). La Smart Clear View Cover con la S Pen sarà disponibile dal 29 gennaio 2021 in nero al prezzo di vendita consigliato di CHF 99.90, mentre la S Pen Pro sarà disponibile da aprile 2021, sempre in nero, al prezzo di vendita consigliato di CHF 99.90.

Galaxy Buds Pro
Si rinnovano anche le Buds, dopo l’esperimento interessante (ma non riuscito al 100%) delle Buds Live. Le nuove Buds Pro sono dotato dicontrollo attivo del rumore: Active Noise Control e Ambient Sound lavorano automaticamente insieme per adattarsi all’ambiente e fornire un’esperienza audio ottimale. Galaxy Buds Pro rileva quando l’utente sta parlando. Il rumore nelle immediate vicinanze può quindi essere facilmente soppresso o addirittura amplificato. Durante una conversazione, le cuffie riducono automaticamente il volume della musica, anche quando il suono ambientale o il controllo del rumore attivo è spento.
Quando sono completamente cariche, le cuffie forniscono fino a 8 ore di autonomia. Inoltre, la base di ricarica senza fili fornisce un’autonomia supplementare di 20 ore. Anche con Active Noise Control attivato, è possibile ascoltare 5 ore di musica e avere comunque 13 ore in più, grazie alla scatola di ricarica.
