Abbiamo parlato spesso di tablet qui su Joypad, normalmente di prodotti di fascia medio alta. Recentemente per\u00f2 ci \u00e8 stato proposto un tablet da 10.1 pollici della tedesca Trekstor<\/strong> e, incuriositi non solo dalla forma ma dalla scelta di sistema operativo (Windows 8 a 32 bit), abbiamo deciso di provarlo. Ecco com\u2019\u00e8 andata!<\/p>\n

\"trekstor<\/p>\n

\n

Il Surface meno caro<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Il TrekStor Surftab 10.1<\/strong> \u00e8 un tablet, come dice il nome, da 10 pollici<\/strong>. Monta uno schermo IPS con risoluzione 1280×800<\/strong> con capacit\u00e0 multitouch, un processore Atom quad-core<\/strong> Z3735F da 1.83 GHz, 2GB di RAM, 32GB di spazio<\/strong> d\u2019archiviazione su stato solido e una scheda video Intel integrata. Sulla scocca troviamo un connettore USB 2.0 full sized<\/strong>, un connettore USB 2.0 micro, una porta micro HDMI, uscita audio jack da 3,5 mm, porta microSD\/microSDHC<\/strong>, due fotocamere (frontale da 2 MP, retro da 5 MP con autofocus). Completano il pacchetto connessione wifi e connettore dock. Il tablet ha una dimensione piuttosto contenuta (259 mm x 173 mm x 10 mm<\/strong>) e un peso di 661 grammi. La scocca \u00e8 in plastica che forma un rivestimento antiscivolo non bellissimo alla vista, ma sicuramente comodo alla presa in mano e che non rester\u00e0 coperto di impronte dopo 2 secondi di utilizzo. Spesso e volentieri, trovandoci di fronte a questa tipologia di prodotti, abbiamo quella sensazione di fragilit\u00e0, corroborata da diversi scricchiolii quando maneggiamo l\u2019oggetto. Nel caso di questo SurfTab, nonostante il suo design non molto bello, l\u2019impressione \u00e8 di una buona solidit\u00e0<\/strong>. Niente scricchiolii, niente parti che si muovono in maniera bizzarra. Il tablet \u00e8 leggermente pi\u00f9 spesso di un Surface RT (visto che abbiamo cominciato col paragonarlo a questo prodotto) ma stranamente risulta decisamente pi\u00f9 \u201cingombrante\u201d tra le mani. Non enorme, ma come dire… massiccio. \u00c8 una sensazione strana che comunque diminuisce progressivamente col tempo. I connettori sono tutti ben piazzati e di facile accesso. Meno soddisfazione (ma si tratta di un inezia) per il tasto d\u2019accensione, che richiede una pressione precisa per essere attivato correttamente.<\/p>\n

Lo schermo di questo tablet si vede bene in condizioni di illuminazione normale e anche con un discreto angolo di visione. Le note dolenti saltano fuori quando guardiamo film o fotografie in una stanza poco illuminata. Noteremo subito che alcune zone periferiche dello schermo sono pi\u00f9 illuminate di altre, effetto particolarmente visibile durante la visione di un film con le bande nere sopra e sotto. Non si tratta di un problema grave, ma \u00e8 sufficientemente visibile per essere fastidioso<\/strong>. Certo, raramente sceglieremo un tablet da 10 pollici per guardare un film, ma per le visioni on the road \u00e8 un elemento da tenere in considerazione. La fotocamera da 5MP<\/strong> sul retro \u00e8 pi\u00f9 che decente, specialemente rispetto ad altri prodotti di marche ben pi\u00f9 blasonate. Non sostituir\u00e0 di certo la vostra refelx o smartphone di ultima generazione e sembrerete sempre un po’ idioti a fare foto con un tablet, ma almeno non saranno completamente inguardabili. Nulla da dire per la fotocamera frontale invece: va bene per Skype e basta.<\/p>\n

“TypeCover”<\/strong><\/h2>\n

TrekStor ha prodotto anche una tastiera astuccio<\/strong>, che si collega tramite la porta dock<\/strong> nella parte sottostante del tablet. Un po\u2019 come Microsoft coi suoi tablet, il fabbricante alemanno ha creato una tastiera apposta, di dimensioni ridotte per poter essere \u201cavvolta\u201d attorno all\u2019apparecchio. La tastiera infatti si raddoppia come astuccio e kick stand<\/strong>, dal momento che tramite delle comode zone pieghevoli, possiamo creare in men che non si dica un supporto. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dall\u2019astuccio, di buona fattura e che grazie ai magneti inseriti in punti strategici, diventa un kick stand comodo e tutto sommato robusto. Meno bene il collegamento al tablet<\/strong>, approssimativo e assolutamente non adatto ad essere usato mentre teniamo il SurfTab sulle gambe. La tastiera \u00e8 piccola<\/strong>, con i tasti ravvicinati come logicamente possiamo aspettarci da un prodotto di queste dimensioni. La qualit\u00e0 di tastiera e trackpad (multitouch) non \u00e8 eccelsa e soffre di evidenti problemi sia di spazio che di prezzo. Il tablet non viene infatti venduto assieme a questa periferica ma essa va acquistata a parte (o in bundle) ma non ha il prezzo esorbitante degli accessori per Surface. Tutto sommato si tratta di una buona soluzione per postare qualche messaggio sui social network<\/strong>, scrivere qualche email o cercare gli ultimi gossip su Emma Watson online, ma decisamente non \u00e8 adatta a lavorare come si deve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Windows 8.1<\/strong><\/h2>\n

La nota assolutamente positiva di questo tablet \u00e8 la sua piena compatibilit\u00e0 con qualsiasi programma per Windows dal momento che non monta un processore ARM ma un processore Atom di Intel. Windows 8.1 e Office 356<\/strong> per un anno comprendono il pacchetto software. Office in particolare \u00e8 un\u2019aggiunta golosa, che vi permette di lavorare (ma non con la tastiera integrata, fate le cose per bene e attaccateci una tastiera full size!). Nonostante il sistema operativo \u201ccompleto\u201d questo SurfTab si comporta bene<\/strong>, restando piuttosto reattivo e in grado di far girare programmi e giochi, anche se questi ultimi non del genere Unreal Engine 4. Per una navigazione online, guardare video su Youtube, leggere notizie e sbrigare qualche faccenda in viaggio o dal salotto, si tratta di un prodotto interessante. Al prezzo consigliato di 399 CHF<\/strong> (ma si trova a molto meno presso M-Electronics) \u00e8 da tenersi in seria considerazione se state valutando un prodotto entry level. Farei scambio tra questo e il mio Surface RT? Ci potete scommettere!<\/p>\n
