After its international debut with Enotria: The Last Song, Italian studio Jyamma Games is back with a new, ambitious project deeply rooted in the culture of the Bel Paese. During Gamescom 2025's Opening Night Live, the Milan-based team gave a world preview of its next title: The Divine Comedy.<\/p>\n

A dark fantasy ARPG, not a soulslike<\/h2>\n

Contrary to what you might think, The Divine Comedy doesn't follow the path of its predecessor. The game is presented as a dark fantasy action RPG with hack-and-slash elements, designed for an audience that loves fast-paced combat but also a deep narrative.<\/p>\n

A world founded on Dante's poem<\/h2>\n
The setting is among the most original seen in recent years: in this alternate universe, Dante's poem has replaced traditional faith, giving rise to a golden age for humanity. But the corruption of dark forces has shattered the balance and thrown the world into chaos.<\/div>\n
The player will take on the role of a warrior-poet, trapped in the underworld, called to descend the Circles of Hell to face increasingly powerful demons and seek redemption from a sinful past.<\/div>\n

Jyamma Games promises an experience rich in variety and customization:<\/div>\n

    The Divine Comedy is currently confirmed for PC via Steam, but Jyamma has already anticipated that it will also be coming to other platforms, yet to be announced.<\/div>\n

    With this new project, Jyamma Games confirms its mission: to bring Italian culture and imagery to the global gaming scene. After the Commedia dell'Arte masks in Enotria, now it's the turn of Dante's poem, reinterpreted in a fantasy key for an international audience.<\/div>\n
