<\/p>\nThis year, Italy's most important video game fair was a success again, with visitor numbers rising further, with approximately 162,000 people entering the pavilions. This was the eighth edition of Milan Games Week, held at the Milano Fiera Rho trade fair center.<\/p>\n

For this edition, our correspondents were our trusted streamers who focused on trying out the new products available during the fair.<\/p>\n
SUPER SMASH BROS ULTIMATE<\/strong><\/p>\n Unfortunately, we weren't able to get our hands on this highly anticipated preview for Nintendo Switch owners. Despite the large number of players who flocked to the Japanese company's booth, we were still able to interview a few lucky players who were able to try the title. From the information we received, the feedback was very positive. While this game's mechanics remain unchanged, it still managed to bring us innovations compared to previous versions, as well as content only found in older versions, such as some maps from Super Smash Bros (for Nintendo 64). Ultimately, Nintendo is assured of success for this title, given its knowledge of the series.<\/p>\n CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS IIII<\/strong><\/p>\n This year, the fourth installment in one of the most popular video game sagas, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, was released. We tried the genre's classic mode, Team Deathmatch. From our impressions, it doesn't offer many new features compared to previous installments. We saw a graphical improvement despite playing on a console (PlayStation 4). The gameplay remains unchanged; essentially, it's a rehash of older installments with improved graphics.<\/p>\n ASUS ROG PHONE<\/strong><\/p>\n A phone that at first glance appears absurdly tacky. However, after a short time in your hands, it feels like a perfectly normal phone, with far more power than most, if not all, flagship smartphones. With a processor overclocked to nearly 3 GHz and 8 GB of RAM, it shows no signs of slowness. Furthermore, with all the accessories, it can become a PC replacement for various tasks. The only flaw is the device's temperature, which Asus has addressed with an external fan (included with the product).<\/p>\n Even if you ignore the accessories, the device is still very convenient as a portable "console" thanks to the two virtual buttons on the sides that replace the triggers of a joypad. Finally, considering the starting price, which should be under CHF 1,000 or even under CHF 900, we think it could be a good smartphone even for those simply looking for something a little more upmarket beyond mobile gaming.<\/p>\n TRUST<\/strong><\/p>\n For a good gamer just starting out in PC gaming, decent peripherals are essential. At the Trust GXT booth, we had the opportunity to try out some mid-range keyboards and mice that didn't disappoint. In fact, mid-priced mechanical keyboards are coming soon, allowing gamers to more easily enter competitive esports even on a tight budget while still maintaining decent gaming quality.<\/p>\n SHOPPING & STREAMER This year, too, GameTop catered to gamers' needs for peripherals, games, and consoles. The organization of the shopping area was significantly improved compared to previous years, thanks to the presence of more than twenty checkout counters, which allowed for much faster purchases. Naturally, their products were sold at fair prices, which resulted in many satisfied guests.<\/p>\n At a fair of this kind, influencers and YouTubers couldn't be missing, bringing various performances to the stage managed by Grow Up Network. In addition to the YouTube world, there was also a Twitch lounge, allowing streamers to relax or interact more easily with their followers.<\/p>\n CONCLUSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n Milan Games Week has grown over time, and fortunately, each year we see some improvements. However, there are still many things to be fixed, such as managing the volume of people trying out the games and attending the fair.
