<\/p>\nKingdom Come: Deliverance is a game we really enjoyed here at Joypad. Therefore, it was impossible to miss the opportunity to go and see the new DLC \u201cThe Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon\u201d shown by Warhorse Studios during Gamescom.<\/p>\n

In the new DLC, whose name might be a bit lengthy but at least leaves no doubt about its content, we'll have to help Hans Capon win over his love. Why lend Hans a hand? Well, according to Warhorse, simply because he asks us to! And so, here we are dealing with a long quest in search of some valuable items that Hans will need to win Carolina's heart: jewels, a book of love poems, and a special potion to make us more beautiful.<\/p>\n

For this second major DLC for Kingdom Come, Warhorse Studios has decided to offer us a lighter story that, according to what we've been told, will take about fifteen hours to complete. To retrieve the various items for the quest, we'll have to travel far and wide across the game map and devise different systems. For example, to retrieve the jewels that the man foolishly lost at dice, we'll have to go to a bandit camp. As is tradition, we'll have several approaches to choose from to get what we need. We can enter the dice tournament and try to win the grand prize by playing, we can kill everyone in the camp, if we are truly very, very good with a sword, or we can use cunning. The developers showed us that there's a secret entrance to the bandit camp, hidden in the bushes. With a bit of attention to avoid waking anyone, we can retrieve not only what we need but also steal every single prize from the tournament, once we've picked the right chest.<\/p>\n

There are other ways, but we'll have to discover them ourselves. As for the love poems, once we've retrieved the book, we'll have to suggest them to Hans, with the peculiarity that we certainly won't be able to read them for him, but we'll have to memorize them! As for the last item of the quest, we'll have to go to a charlatan who will decide to help us only if we agree to terrorize an entire village so that they buy his potions! The epilogue of this adventure, which we really don't want to spoil for you, is really funny and will reward you for the hours spent!<\/p>\n

\nKingdom Come Deliverance: The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon is the game's second major DLC and will also include a minor DLC called Tournament DLC. This second part is a tournament mode where we will face various enemies in a combat arena. Participating and winning in the fights means receiving special weapons that are not found anywhere else in the game! The clashes will be based on 3 rounds where the first player chooses the type of weapon to be used (longsword, short sword and shield, and so on). Victory will go, according to the developers, to the more skilled of the two individuals. There will be no perks or ways to \u201ccheat,\u201d only reflexes and a deep understanding of Kingdom Come's rather peculiar combat system.<\/p>\n

\nThe second DLC for Kingdom Come seemed very promising to us: complex, varied, and capable of keeping us busy for many hours. It will be accessible almost immediately in the game (after we've participated in the hunt in the main story), meaning after a good ten hours of gameplay. This DLC won't offer any particular changes to the way you play, but, much like CD Projekt Red did with the second DLC for The Witcher 3, it will offer a somewhat bizarre and fun adventure.
