<\/p>\nTom Clancy's The Division's second expansion, \u201cSurvival,\u201d will be available tomorrow for Xbox One and Windows PC, and on December 20 for PlayStation 4. \u201cSurvival\u201d is included in the Season Pass but can be purchased separately for \u20ac14.99.<\/p>\n

As New York City is hit by the most severe blizzard of the century, Division agents receive intelligence regarding the existence of powerful antivirals in the Dark Zone, which could thwart the spread of the pandemic plaguing the city. But before they can reach their destination, the helicopter the agents are traveling in crashes due to the intensifying storm.<\/p>\n
To survive and reach their objective, players will have to brave extreme conditions, learning to cope with the cold, disease, hunger, and thirst. Finding warm clothing, food, supplies, water, and medicine will be vital to surviving and successfully completing the mission. But 23 other players will also be engaged in the same situation, doing everything they can to survive and find the cure. Resources to stay alive will be scarce, and the fierce competition among agents resulting from this situation will lead to many of them losing their lives as they try to reach the Dark Zone. In addition to a hostile environment, another deadly threat prowls the Dark Zone: the Hunters, a new, deadly and mysterious enemy who proudly displays the watches of the agents they have killed.<\/p>\n

In "Survival," players can choose between PvP and PvE modes. In PvP, without the backstabbing mechanic, agents can compete or collaborate with other players across New York City, even outside the Dark Zone. The greater risks in PvP come with greater rewards, which come in the form of bonus multipliers to their total score. In PvE, players can play cooperatively with other players, and PvP is disabled, even in the Dark Zone.<\/p>\n
The free update 1.5 will include a new World Tier for all activities, World Tier 5, as well as 6 new unique high-end equipment items, 3 new unique high-end weapons, and 12 new weapon types.<\/p>\n
