<\/p>\nAmong the various titles proposed by Focus Home Interactive, a near-final version of SpaceHulk \u2013 Deathwing stands out. Last year, again at E3, we saw a Pre-Alpha and really liked it, this time they showed up with a live gameplay of the game's first mission.<\/p>\n

Just to recap and give you a brief introduction, SpaceHulk is a chapter in the immense Warhammer 40,000 saga from the famous Games Workshop. In this case, we're talking about the board game from years ago (1989, we're talking) where you take control of a tactical squad of Terminators (Deathwing Division of the Dark Angels) ready to eradicate every Tyranid alien form in the level.<\/p>\n

\nIn this case, the theme is the same, the same objective, only the game is no longer a board game but a first-person shooter. We will have the honor of playing as a chaplain of the "Deathwing" team supported by his team of Terminators. The live demo begins with choosing your equipment. Obviously, we will have all the weapons that exist in the world of WH40K at our disposal, starting from the MultiMelta to the Lascannon, without forgetting the Heavy Bolter or, for lovers of body-to-body combat, the definitive Thunder Hammer & Storm Shield pairing. In short, if you've played or are even slightly familiar with the world of WH40K, you will have tears of joy in your eyes. After selecting your equipment, we launch into the mission.<\/p>\n

We control the chaplain personally, but thanks to a series of quick commands, we can issue orders to team members. A key concept of the game is to avoid being surrounded by the Tyranids, because, as is well known, being surrounded by a sea of claws and teeth, especially those of the Geneslayers, is a tough nut to crack. So we can close the doors behind us by giving commands to our team, who will then seal the doors behind us to prevent attack from behind. The game is fluid and action-packed; seeing waves of Tyranids approaching you and being able to melt them with Multimelt is quite satisfying. The developers assure us that the campaign is at least 15 hours long, during which we can unlock new weapons and upgrades. The enemies are exclusively Tyranids, but the developers haven't specified which species we'll encounter. Or rather, they haven't said whether we'll have to deal with any Dominatrixes or Carnifexes during the mission, but we're confident something big will definitely come our way.
\nThe game looks really promising and if you are a fan of WH40K and FPS games then this game is a safe buy.<\/p>\n
