<\/p>\nThe day begins with NeoCore Games, which presented Warhammer 40,000 Inquistor \u2013 Martyr. The game is an open-world action RPG set entirely in the Warhammer 40,000 galaxy. We will have the opportunity to choose between different classes (Assassin and Crusader are those available in the Pre-Alpha), each of which will have its own special weapons and abilities that can be upgraded over the course of the campaign.<\/p>\n

Each planet we go to for a mission will be generated entirely randomly thanks to the sandbox system, including the number of monsters. Obviously, they will always remain themed to the mission, so no surprises.
\nEach mission rewards us with experience and a sort of currency that can be used to buy new equipment and\/or upgrade the current one. The developers have tried to remain faithful to the Warhammer world as much as possible by ensuring a certain level of environmental destruction. We can practically destroy anything that comes within range, in fact the key words of this game are "Blood, Gore, and Destruction." Monsters also fall into this category, in fact in addition to having very lively death animations, larger monsters can be torn to shreds. For example, if we hit them several times, an arm can be severed, thus weakening the monster, rendering it unable to shoot. Finally, once its health is reduced to zero, we can enjoy a beautiful, spectacular animation that reduces the monster to a pile of flesh and bones.<\/p>\n

There's a cover system that allows both the character and enemies to take advantage of cover, making battles a little more challenging. For healing, we have "combat durgs," which, like a sort of potion, restore health during combat. The game will be single-player-focused, but we can always enlist the help of other inquisitors, up to a maximum of four of them joining our game. They're also planning to introduce "live events," random events that, if completed immediately, will yield greater rewards than the campaign missions.<\/p>\n

\nWe were able to play a Pre-Alpha game with two characters, one mission with the Assassin and the other with the Crusader. Although full of imperfections and not yet stable, the game is fun. We have good character control, and using the various weapons and abilities is also quite easy. Despite being one against a thousand, the game is not difficult, and by taking advantage of the skills, it is quite easy to survive enemy fire. For lovers of the Warhammer world, this will certainly be a must-have, as they will be able to immerse themselves in the role of an Inquisitor as they strive to purify the world of evil. We will eagerly await new updates and hope that the game will be finalized and released during 2017.<\/p>\n
